Lucy of Jackson, TN
Lucy grew up on a farm in Arkansas, married in 1970 and graduated from college in 1971. Lucy led a full life with three beautiful daughters. Her family, active in their church, experienced deep grief when one of their beautiful daughters died suddenly. God used the music and words of encouragement on American Family Radio (AFR) to minister to Lucy's heart in the depths of that grief. Because of the ministry of AFR, Lucy wanted to make a lasting contribution, so she contacted the American Family Association and asked about giving options. She decided on a Charitable Remainder Unitrust. Now, not only does Lucy help American Family Radio and the American Family Association, she also receives income to help in her retirement.
Today Lucy has seven grandchildren and lives near an AFR station where she is friends with the staff and volunteers her time. Her words expressing her gratitude for AFR - "In this evil time we are living in, I am so thankful for AFR. I do believe AFR speaks God's Truth to those who are hungry for the Lord and want to know what is actually happening in our country and the world. It is so wonderful to have a ministry that speaks truth and that is not politically correct! I do thank the Lord for AFR."
